their hip will be hit with a $200 fine in a new law passed in Hampton, Georgia.
The city is the latest in the US to outlaw 'sagging pants', which was deemed as a form of anti-social behaviour in a new legislation against the fashion statement.
Similar bans have already been passed in other Georgia municipalities, including Albany and Hahira, after Delcambre, Louisiana, became the first town to outlaw saggy pants in 2007.
The new law dictates trousers that are seen three inches below the hip line, show skin, or underwear are illegal and punishable by a $200 fine.
First time offenders will be charged just $50, those caught doing it again will be hit with a $100 fine, and third-time offenders will be forced to pay the full $200, according to reports.

Hampton City Manager Andy Pippin said: "The police and city council have received numerous complaints about sagging pants.’’


He assured Hampton residents that the police would be ‘‘very lenient’’ in order to give them time to adjust to the law.
He said: "officers aren't going to be out looking for people with sagging pants,"
The ban of sagging pants, popular amongst members of the African-American community, has spurred critics to label the outlaw racist.
Ed Yohnka, of the American Civil Liberties Union said: "I think it [the law] creates more police interaction for young black men based not on the evidence that they're involved in some sort of criminal activity, but based purely and simply on what they're wearing."
“And frankly, it creates more hostility between the police and a segment of the community that already feels targeted and besieged," he added.
