I Was in town when the blast occurred and I must say it was quite loud that I heard it 100 metres away and immediately knew there was something very wrong, everyone near me panicked and asked what was going on.

I took a peek from somewhere near Central Police Station and the whole of Moi Ave was just a sea of humanity with curious wananchi occupying every inch craning their necks towards the scene.

Ambulances and fire brigades all over the place, shops closed and everyone seems to be calling someone from their phones! Police cars hooting and speeding towards the scene, guns sticking from windows!

Is Kenya the only country in the world that people ran TOWARDS a bomb blast rather than AWAY from it? God forbid if another blast goes off near the same place. There would be thousands dead!

"Gotta get away from here!".. and back to work I went!
